Serratus Anterior Plane Block

The Serratus Anterior Plane block targets lateral cutaneous breaches of T2-T9 intercostal nerves. At the midaxillary line the lateral cutaneous nerve penetrates the external intercostal serratus anterior muscles before diving into the anterior and posterior divisions which innervate the anterolateral chest wall.
